Welcome to NamaStay Himalayas, Kanatal
Kanatal is a picturesque Himalayan hamlet within the Kaudia Forest Range, surrounded by deodar, pine, oak, and rhododendron forests. Our home rests in an apple orchard, overlooking the sacred Surkanda Devi Temple - a Shakti Peeth, and the Himalayan ranges stretching behind — from Pir Panjal to Nanda Devi.
The house carries its own history — first built as a storage space for orchard supplies, later serving as a village school, and now lovingly transformed into a warm, comfortable farmstay for travelers seeking peace, nature, and connection.

SHRESTHA SAHA2025-06-25Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had the loveliest stay at Namastay Himalayas! A truly cozy place nestled amidst stunning views of the mountains. The hospitality was exceptional — every little detail was taken care of with so much warmth and personal attention. The rooms were spotless, the service impeccable, and the vibe just felt like home. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in nature with the comforts of a thoughtfully run stay. Can’t wait to visit again. Swarna2025-06-20Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lovely stay. Stunning views. Peaceful ambience. Offbeat experience. Felt like literally living in the mountains ❣️❣️❣️ People taking care of us were warm and helpful. Meals were homemade and fresh. It was a homely, friendly and wholesome environment. The experience inside the stay was 10/10. No complaints whatsoever. But---- the last 1.5km stretch off the main road is very narrow and rugged. It can be very daunting and risky for someone not familiar with driving in the terrain. (I think it will be safer to walk down from the main road rather than taking your car off the main road). I wish NamaStay Himalayas can do something about this.... Maybe some alternate arrangements can be made like car-parking near the main road, and conveyance from there till the property. Not interfering with nature and enjoying the dirt track as apart of real adventure is understandable, but the current condition of the 1.5 km stretch is very questionable and unexpected. Maybe some solution can be figured out🥲 I loved the place and would love to revisit sometime Bharat Mahajan2025-04-20Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
